Huawei Technologies, Munich Reseach Center, Munich, Germany
Hello, I'm Jawad, a Networked Systems Researcher and Engineer, currently working at Huawei Technologies. I work on developing intelligent systems and tools to help cloud operators and SRE teams quickly detect and repair anomalies in the cloud.
My passion lies in Networked Systems and Internet Measurement. I obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Saarland University and Max-Planck-Institute for Informatics. There, I had the privilege of working with some brilliant researchers and worked on exciting projects in the Internet Architecture Research Group, under the guidance of Prof. Anja Feldmann.
My research journey began with the development of Systems for the verification of Software Defined Networks. I then went on to build a distributed system called Flowyager, which facilitated network operators to collect, summarize, index, and query Terabytes of Network Flow data interactively. I worked on measuring the Client-Server landscape of IoT devices on the Internet, which I find fascinating. I'm enthusiastic about exploring the possibilities of the "Things" that are connected to the Internet.
You can find more information about my work by scrolling down or by contacting me. I am always open to having discussions about my research and its implications.
